A safe and versatile lime scale remover, REEDLIME can be used to perform de-scaling maintenance without causing a break in production.
REEDLIME is most effective when circulated through the equipment to be cleaned. Circulation should be up-flow if at all possible, taking between two to four hours.
Although not recommended, filling the equipment to be cleaned with REEDLIME and allowing it to sit until the scale has dissolved is a less effective alternative. This passive cleaning procedure normally takes two to six hours; therefore circulation is the preferred method.
Since carbon dioxide gas is a by-product of the de-scaling process, the cleaning equipment and the equipment being cleaned should be vented at all times.
